A model for constructing the problem base for web-based learning

The problem base is an important part of a problem-based learning support system. This paper focuses on constructing a model of a learning support system’s problem base to analyse its elements, and research its functions and the mutual relations among its components. The problem-base’s architecture is outlined from the perspectives of design, systems analysis, a building mechanism and operational processes.

A diagrammatic outline of the construction of the system is given below:
